Our new website was built on the foundation that the more information we about our services the better the website will be.

 

All the pages, on the new website, provide detail of what ARK can do for its customers and how they go about it.

It has a brand-new look is much easier to read, an FAQ page to answer the burning questions, as well as, a new and improved sectors page which showcases all the businesses and homes ARK can help in becoming more secure. There is also now a newsletter subscription page, to keep customers up to date ARK have been up to over the month.

Services

As part of the new website there is now a new Services section. On the original site, despite the services pages being very similar in content, it was divided across two pages and separated into different parts of the website.

On the new website, Services now has its own section and each individual service ARK provide, has its own dedicated page. These individual pages detail what the service is, how it works, the benefits of using the service and what it can do for your business.

In addition, if you still have questions not answered on the service pages or the FAQ, or you’re interested in having one or many of ARK’s services at your business or home, on the bottom of all the pages is now the option to have a call or email back from ARK’s skilled experts.

Nicholas Michael – APG Marketing Manager said the following:

“I was excited to get the new ARK website out; it has many improvements that I feel will be a big success. One I am particularly happy with, is how long it took a new-visitors to find all of ARK’s services. During user testing I asked people to find what ARK did as a company, beyond key holding.

On the old website, users averaged 3 minutes to find the services, they commented that elements on the site were broken and frustrating. In the real world, a user wouldn’t spend 3 minutes looking for a list of services and would instead bounce off the site.  However, when on the new website finding the relevant services took users 7 seconds. They were able to find the full list of services, not redacted services pages that were hidden in the menu bars, like on the old site. It is difficult for a new user to know what services are available, and this is a primary function of any website.

Overall, I’m really pleased with what has been accomplished and I’m confident that users will like the new site as much as I do.”

Digital Forms

We know how important ARK’s service partners are to them, so we wanted the website to reflect that.

After realising the old site included far too many steps to just apply to be a service partner, we thought it important to streamline this process.

Now, instead of having an application form that must be downloaded, printed, filled out, scanned in and then finally emailed back to us, the application form is now part of the new site. It can be easily filled out and sent to ARK in a matter of seconds, answering all the necessary questions and making the process as simple as should have been in the first place.

Improved Structure

As with the new layout for the service pages, the rest of the website has also received a similar facelift. With all the new information on the site, we thought it needed to be easy to find. Unlike the old website, where everything was hidden in sections where they didn’t belong, the new website has a more linear structure.

The sectors also now have their own individual pages, making it easy to read about what and where ARK provide their services. The accreditations page has user-friendly navigation, which makes it accessible from other pages throughout the site so you can effortlessly find out all the good ARK can do for you. Everything on the new site is available at the touch of a button.

Newsletter

ARK’s new look also comes with a new newsletter, which didn’t previously exist on the old site. Although ARK has always had news article updates and will continue to do so, We want ARK’s customers and service partners to get to know them even better.

By subscribing to the newsletter, everything ARK has been getting up to over the course of a month, every month will be sent to you by email. The aim of doing this is to showcase ARK’s continued focus on the people they work for and with to provide the best quality security solutions for all customers.
